The Houston community has started working together to create and publish a few games together in order to build a stronger core here in Houston. We just started a new title and while, I am the only designer I have been having fun designing the levels we are using so far. The game we are building is a split screen competitive puzzle game.
In this game you have to collect pieces of your ship before the other player. When you collect a piece of your ship the other player is hit with a detrimental ability like frozen in ice, or covered in mud to slow you down. Here are some early shots of the level design.
